Alot of the digital cameras out have date stamp. Almost any camera you buy at a Wal Mart has a date stamp feature. 9 out of 10 Anyways. I bought the Samsung Digimax A503 for around a hundred bucks. I didnt need a big fancy thing and it works well and has a date stamp feature and room to put an SD card and runs off AA batteries.

it depends on how old your kid is.

you can’t really get a descent digital camera for 60 bucks and under not even 100 bucks.you have to spend around 150 to get a descent camera. anything cheap doesn’t have good zoom. you don’t want digital zoom you want optical zoom.

Definitely go on eBay. Look for something around 2-3 Megapixels. There should be some good deals. Also, check shipping costs before buying. Some people have a low auction price, but huge shipping costs.

You would probably go for the low range which could be from 200 to 500 dollars. Like a nikon or a canon

You can’t get into the firmware. But, you should be able to turn the sound off in the Settings area for your camera. Check your manual.
